Methodology and editorial policy

How our numerology arithmetic, zodiac traditions and daily and monthly horoscope publication work.

Life Path and Birthday numbers

We add all eight digits of the complete YYYY-MM-DD birth date, then reduce the total by adding its digits. We keep 11, 22 and 33 whenever reached. We do not reduce the month, day or year separately.

Birthday starts with the day of the month, not the whole date. We reduce that number using the same rule, keeping 11 and 22.

The numerology calculator shows each addition and reduction. Life Path uses the full date; Birthday uses only its day of month. The output is deterministic arithmetic. Other numerology traditions can use different conventions.

Name-based numbers and supported letters

Pythagorean letter values repeat from 1 to 9: A-I, then J-R, then S-Z. Expression (also called Destiny) uses every letter. Soul Urge uses A, E, I, O and U. Personality uses the other letters. Y is always a consonant. The same reduction rule keeps 11, 22 and 33.

Use English letters A-Z. Latin accents are simplified, and common Latin ligatures are expanded to spellings such as AE, OE or SS. Spaces, hyphens, apostrophes and periods do not add a value. Other scripts need an English-letter spelling supplied by you.

Expression uses every supported letter after normalization. Supported Latin accents and ligatures are handled consistently, but not every Unicode letter is supported. Unsupported scripts or characters produce an error; they are not silently removed or automatically transliterated. Supply your own English-letter spelling if needed. Names are limited to 120 characters.

If a name has no A, E, I, O or U, its Soul Urge result is explicitly unavailable. If it has no consonants in this method, its Personality result is unavailable. We do not substitute zero or invent an interpretation for an empty letter group.

Calendar dates and calculator privacy

Both calculator modes require a name and date of birth. Dates are checked against the Gregorian calendar, including leap years. Impossible dates are rejected. The future-date check uses the visitor's local calendar day in their browser, not the India-time clock used for horoscope editions.

Names, birth dates and calculated results stay in local component state in the browser. They are not put in URLs, sent to our server or providers, logged, or saved in persistent browser storage. Editing an input clears the old result; reset clears the inputs and result. This does not prevent your browser's own autofill or form restoration.

Hosting still involves technical request processing. The Privacy policy explains that distinction and the separate, optional launch-waitlist consent.

Zodiac signs and compatibility

Sign guides use conventional Western tropical dates and traditional symbolism.

Evergreen approval

Numerology, zodiac and compatibility guides are approved before publication. Contributor credits and publication dates accompany the guides.

The About page introduces the contributors and links to their published work.

Daily and monthly horoscope publication

Daily and monthly horoscopes are prepared in dated editions and pass content and publication validation before they appear on the website.

Corrections are published as revised versions. Readings can also be withdrawn from availability.

Edition dates and availability

Daily and monthly edition boundaries use Asia/Kolkata (India time). An edition date identifies the period a reading belongs to. A future edition is unavailable until its publication time has arrived and its daily or monthly period is current.

A daily or monthly reading may be missing or expired. Its page then shows an unavailable or preparing state rather than an old reading relabeled as today's or this month's. Current-reading links include only eligible editions. Visit the horoscope section for the readings currently available.
